Leopardstown course guide
Leopardstown is a modern, versatile Dublin track that stages high-class flat and National Hunt racing through the year. Left-handed and fairly galloping with a sweeping home turn, it's a fair, easy-to-read course where the better horse usually gets the chance to win — though a handy position into the straight is an advantage on quicker ground.
The Christmas and February jumps festivals are major Cheltenham trials and the form works out strongly, while the summer flat cards carry Group races and Classic trials. Because it's a track that rewards genuine ability without too many quirks, Leopardstown form travels well to the top British and Irish fixtures.
